David Brown
President
David provides oversight to IMC’s development, construction, and property management activities. He has extensive experience in multi-family housing construction projects, LIHTC tax credit programs, and management of multi-family housing communities. This experience and passion for providing affordable housing to our communities in Georgia has led to IMC’s growth in the real estate industry. He has over 40 years of experience in property management and construction. He is a graduate of Valdosta State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Management and is a licensed General Contractor.

Chief Financial Officer
Libby is responsible for the financial management of all IMC’s property management, development, and construction divisions. This includes development tax credit applications, financial management of the construction process from development to completion, and financial management of IMC properties. Libby has over 26 years of experience in accounting, commercial real estate finance, LIHTC/Affordable housing development and finance. She is a Certified Public Accountant, a graduate of Valdosta State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Accounting, and she is HCCP certified.

Leah is responsible for the overall property operations of IMC including policies and procedures, safety, and training. She is a graduate of Valdosta State University with a bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication. She is HCCP and SHCM certified.

Property Accountant
Cheryl works with the financial reporting for all IMC affordable properties. She is responsible for coordinating, planning, and reporting all financial activities for IMC conventional and commercial properties. She maintains the general ledgers, reviews financial statements, prepares financial reports, assists with the audits and budgeting processes, as well as reconciles accounts. She has over 20 years of experience in property management accounting.
Morgan McElhaney
Construction & Development Accountant
Morgan is responsible for construction and development accounting including project funding requests during construction, processing construction Accounts Payable, and maintaining accurate job cost reports for projects under construction.  She is a graduate of Valdosta State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Accounting.
Sheri Bennett
Accounts Payable Manager
Sheri manages the Accounts Payable Department and is responsible for processing all invoices submitted for payment. She oversees 1099 preparation, Workers Compensation Insurance audits, and supports the Accounting Department in accounts payable functions and assists with other projects as requested. Sheri has 15 years of experience in property management, 12 years in banking, and 10 years in bookkeeping/management.

Renee serves as Regional Manager for IMC. She is responsible for LIHTC, RD, and layered apartment communities. She oversees these apartment communities that include Site Managers and Maintenance Technicians. Renee is responsible for relocation of our residents during the rehab of properties. She has over 30 years of experience in property management and the LIHTC/Affordable housing industry. Renee is HCCP certified.

Amanda serves as a Regional Manager for IMC. She is responsible for LIHTC, RD, and layered apartment communities. She oversees these apartment communities that include Site Managers, Maintenance Technicians, and hundreds of units. She has over 13 years of experience in property management and the LIHTC/Affordable Housing industry.

IMC Annual Managers Conference
On October 23-25, 2023, IMC held their annual managers conference. All property managers gathered in Valdosta, GA for team building, training, policy updates, and fellowship.
